Why are you in business? – Because we enjoy what we do and love to get customer results that other Agencies are unable to provide

Why are in this type of business? – We are a full digital Agency and Software Development company

What is your background? Education, Work Experience – I am originally from Africa and that’s where I went to school at. I have worked at a bank and also at a fortune 500 top 20 company here in the US as an analyst in customer experience and sales.

Can you provide me with a description of your business? – We’re seasoned professional marketing, advertising, design, and web experts that provide a full spectrum of marketing services, from massive social media presence and strategic planning to the design and development of ads, websites, and print collateral that perform. Smart guides find the best paths. It takes consistent vision to lead a company that works on the edge of what’s possible. How long have you been in business? – We have been in business since 2014

How did you get started in this business? – I wanted to do something different than the corporate job I had prior. So, I figured if there’s one thing that everyone needs, what is it? And the answer was Marketing; hence the birth of the agency

How did you get the background and skills necessary to run this type of business? – I am good at listening and talking to people, that is the most important thing. Secondly, I only hired and worked with the best so that the customer can also receive nothing but the utmost best results

How do the social, economic, environmental, technological, legal and political environments impact your business? – The digital space is an ever-changing industry and as a business we have to adapt to keep providing our customers best in class solutions. Creativity and innovation are what drive the industry. Technologies, strategies and general public are becoming smarter and so are we. Social media has also changed the way businesses operate and it is vital for businesses to be able to stay ahead of the curve to remain competitive.

Do you know who your competitors are? – Of course! And we love competition, because it is one of the things that motivate us to grow and provide top notch results for our clients.

How do you market your business? How are people aware of your business? – Most of our business is through word of mouth which spreads pretty fast by way of referrals; happy customers brag about their success and being the force behind it naturally allows them to include Deviate in their talks. We also get business through social media and search engines

Where do you see your business in the next year? In the next five years? The next ten years? – Within the next year we plan to open offices in Asia, Europe and Africa as part of our growth and partnerships strategy.

Do you plan to compete in the global marketplace? If yes, how? If no, why not? – Definitely! Expansion is in our repertoire. We thrive at making connections that matter and global partnerships.

How has technology, such as computers and the internet, impacted on how you conduct business? – Greatly, but we are innovators and trendsetters. We have done a great job staying ahead of the curve the never-ending change in technology

Why is your business located at this site? – Because Los Angeles is the heart of California. California in general harbors some of the biggest tech companies and we want to ride in that current

Whom do you seek advice from for your business? – My team and other successful entrepreneurs

Can you describe your customers? – Our customers are lovely people that have chosen us to help with their marketing needs. We are forever thankful for the opportunities they give Deviate.

Why do your customers select you over your competitors? – Because we care. Our culture and our team is good, and we show results

Are there any ethical concerns that your type of business must deal with? – Yes, just like any other businesses. There are always people that only want to take and give nothing in return

How do you overcome these ethical problems? – We learn from every experience and make better decisions.

What is your management style? – No name no titles. We are all managers of our assignments.

What are the biggest issues for running this business? – Not being able to stay on top of industry changes and demands could be an issue but luckily, we haven’t experienced that yet

What is the future for this type of business? – Marketing and technology are what drive the world, so it can only get bigger

If something happens to you, what will happen to your business? – The amazing people at Deviate will find a way to continue thriving and winning for our clients
